In this intimate, swank wine bar, Lum fuses French salon and California chic through the juxtaposition of distinctive elements — walls with flowing curves and crushed velvet, seasoned with purple, gold and burgundy immerse the patron in viticultural reference without being literal. Wine is sipped from an up-lit onyx bar, the wine glasses hung from a custom designed steel winerack that doubles as a functional chandelier. Guests recline on low banquettes or custom chairs with harlequins, stars or stripes, while more intimate meetings occur in the cocoon-like back area, known as one of the City's most romantic rooms.
